We Unite Chicago

The American Outlaws are dedicated to supporting the United States National Soccer Teams.

About AO Chicago

As part of the American Outlaws, with over 30,000 members in over 200 chapters across the world, we organize passionate and enthusiastic support for our men’s, women’s, youth, and extended national soccer teams right here in Chicago.

Together we give it our all for ninety minutes or more, no matter if we’re supporting the team from a bar stool or in the stands. We’re here to provide great experiences that bring together U.S. National Team fans in Chicago to support our teams and build community.

Our Mission

To provide great experiences that bring together U.S. National Team fans in Chicago to support our teams and build community.

The core of AO is the people. At one point, every member found a camaraderie and community that enticed them to join.

We exist to support the development of that community in Chicago by ensuring we deliver great experiences for our members to enjoy together.

We will be active in caring for our member’s experiences- from watch parties and tailgates to addressing issues and communicating effectively.

Our Vision

Become the best AO chapter in the country by delivering outstanding experiences that expand and reimagine what an AO chapter can be.

We are lucky to be in the best city in the country and that gives us much to offer members.

We will build on the foundation of AO - supporting the National Teams, home or away, big game or small - in any interesting, exciting, or entertaining way that fits our mission.

Our Values

We’re a welcoming group that supports our teams and each other by both enjoying tradition and embracing change.

We were once the misfits - the soccer fans in a football country. We know what it means to welcome new fans. If they’re new to the sport, the teams, or the city, we’re here to welcome them. And being welcoming extends to everyone - fans of all races, ethnicities, genders, religions, orientations, abilities and languages.

No longer misfits, we’re a well-established group that comes together to have a good time supporting our teams among friends without ego or pretension.

Traditions bring us together and define our space. We’ll enjoy those we’ve made, while still keeping our minds open to new possibilities and do our part to remove behaviors and traditions that are unwelcoming or exclusionary.
